Tuna sandwich

Tuna sandwich

+2 years

This homemade tuna salad works so well on a sandwich or in a wrap. It's easy to make and so much better than the store bought stuff. We use a bit of mayonnaise in this recipe to add extra creaminess.

Ingredients for 4 portions

  • 100 g tuna, canned

  • 0.25 cucumber

  • 1 tbsp coriander, freshly chopped

  • 1 tsp mayonnaise

  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 avocado

  • 0.5 lime, juiced

Preparation

  1. Dice the cucumber finely. There's no need to peel it, just wash it thoroughly.

  2. Remove the peel and stone from the avocado and mash with a fork.

  3. Mix the mashed avocado with all the other ingredients.

  4. Spread on a bit of bread or roll it in a wrap with some lettuce leaves.
