curried potatoes & peas
This potato and pea side dish is super flavourful. Serve with some chicken, lamb or paneer. If you have leftovers, make little samosas out of them!
Ingredients for 2 portions
Preparation
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Steam or cook in boiling water until soft.
Peel the ginger and grate finely.
Add the spices in a shallow pan and bring to a low heat. After toasting the spices for 1 minute, add the olive oil, peas and ginger. Let it simmer for 2 minutes, then add the cooked potatoes and give everything a good stir.
Also joining the table?
Easy, season with some salt and serve alongside meat or fish. You can also make samosas with the filling. All you need is some puff pastry.
