Can my baby eat Orange

From +4 months

Are oranges healthy for children?

Giving freshly squeezed orange juice to your kid, or letting them munch on some slices is completely safe and healthy. Oranges contain a lot of water so they're great for hydration. They're super rich in vitamin C and are a good source of fiber, folic acid and potassium. Blood oranges contain a type of antioxidant pigment but are also safe for your baby.

How to serve orange

You can squeeze out the juice for your child to drink or you can cut the flesh into small pieces (take off the skin around each piece to avoid choking). You can also use the juice to make a fruit puree a bit smoother.
