Vitamin c milkshake

Vitamin C milkshake

+4 months

This milkshake is a great way to introduce fruit into your baby's diet. It's absolutely not necessary, you can just start by giving a fruit puree at the age of 4, 5 or 6 months. However, this is just a fun way to mix things up and flavour your baby's milk. You can use any milk you normally give.

Ingredients for 1 portion

  • 1 orange tangerine or grapefruit

  • 200 ml baby's milk (formula or breast milk)

Preparation

  1. Orange

Squeeze the orange and make sure there are no pips.

  2. Milk

Prepare the milk just they way you're used to doing it and stir in the juice.

Also joining the table?

You can easily make this milkshake for you as well. Instead of formula or breastmilk, use soy or almond milk for an extra protein boost. You can add half an avocado and some fresh mint or even basil to freshen it up.
