Can my baby eat Bulgur

From +6 months

Common allergen:

Wheat

Is bulgur healthy for children?

Bulgur grains are a very healthy addition to your baby's diet. It's a very good source of fiber, and it also contains many of the vitamins and minerals your baby's growing body needs, such as B6, iron, manganese and magnesium. On top of that, they have a sweet and nutty taste. Since bulgur is made from wheat, it is not suited for people with wheat allergies. Because of bulgur's fibrous texture, start with small portions (1 tablespoon) and work your way up.

How to serve bulgur

Serve bulgur as you would rice. Its small size makes it very suitable for babies to chew and swallow. The texture might take some getting used to, but after a few tries your little one will be totally fine!
