This chia gel recipe is a good one to add to your favourites. Chia is considered a superfood because of its high content of healthy fats such as omega 3. They are also a source of protein, so great for vegetarian or flexitarian kids. They do also contain a lot of fiber, which means you might need that extra diaper afterwards. Feel free to experiment with other types of fruit. Berries work wonderfully well.

Ingredients for 1 portion

  • 125 ml coconut milk

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 0.5 banana

  • 0.5 mango

Preparation

  1. Soaking the chia

    Soak the chia seeds in the coconut milk during the night.

  2. Banana & mango

    In the morning, cut the banana and mango in small pieces and add to the pudding. Mash until there are no lumps in the fruit anymore.

This is the perfect breakfast for young children and adults as well. Just add any fruit you like.
