You will need to add:
- Soy sauce
- Fish sauce
- Green curry
These lettuce cups are just a tad spicy. We don't use a lot of green curry, but enough to really give your child a taste of thai cuisine. They're also super fun to eat!
Spring onion
Chop the spring onion finely after cutting off the bottom and about 5 cm off the top.
Chicken
Heat some vegetable oil in a pan and fry the minced chicken together with the spring onion.
Curry paste
When the chicken is cooked through, add the green curry paste and stir. Take off the heat.
Herbs
Stir the chopped mint and coriander through the chicken.
Lettuce cups
Scoop the chicken mixture in the lettuce leaves.
For adults, we can bring out some more of those vibrant Thai flavours. Just by adding three ingredients to the chicken mince, you bring this dish to the next level. Go easy on the fish sauce and add as much curry as your palate can stand.
