This spinach puree works very well with fish and meat both. Feel free to add some nutmeg once your baby is used to the pure spinach flavor.

Ingredients for 2 portions

  • 1 potato

  • 50 g spinach

  • 1 tsp olive oil

Preparation

  1. Peel the potato and cut it into cubes.

  2. Steam or cook in boiling water until the potatoes are soft. In the last 2 minutes, add the spinach. Spinach cooks very fast so it really only needs a couple of minutes.

  3. Blend everything together and finish with a teaspoon of olive oil.

Also joining the table?

This one is easily tweaked for adults. Just season with salt and pepper. Works well with fish.
