Diabolical prawns... that's what the name of this dish means. But don't worry, we're softening this dish up to become the perfect creamy pasta dish your toddler will love. At least we hope so!

Ingredients for 1 portion

  • 50 ml cream

  • 100 ml canned tomato

  • 0.25 tsp garlic clove powder

  • 1 pinch black pepper

  • 1 pinch chili flakes

  • 80 g pasta

  • 6 mushrooms

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 8 prawns

  • 0.5 red bell pepper

Preparation

  1. Sauce

    Slice the mushrooms thinly and dice the bell pepper.

  2. Heat up the olive oil in a pan and sautée the mushrooms and bell pepper. After about 5 minutes, add the spices and canned tomatoes. Stir frequently and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

  3. Pasta

    In the meantime, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the box.

  4. Prawns

    Chop de prawns (shell removed and deveined) into bite size pieces and place them in the tomato sauce. Let them cook until they are completely pink and then stir through the cream.

  5. Serve the pasta with the sauce and prawns.

This dish was made to be spicy, really spicy. So keep a portion aside for the kids and spice yours up with fresh or dried chili, as much as you can handle.
