Quesadilla with pear

Pear & cheese quesadilla

+1 year

Quesadillas are great for those moments you just don't have a lot of time. This pear and cheese quesadilla is slightly different then what you're used to. But the sweetness of the pear goes incredibly well with the cheese.

Ingredients for 1 quesadilla

  • 0.5 pear

  • 1 tortilla (corn or flour)

  • 2 slices mild, young cheese

Preparation

  1. Pear

Peel the pear, take out the core and slice into slices of about half a centimeter. Take a pan and put in on medium heat without any oil. Bake the slices of pear for 2 minutes on each side.

  2. Tortilla

Take one tortilla and arrange the pear slices on it, then cover it with cheese and put the second tortilla on top. Put the tortilla in the same pan you cooked the pears in and cook until one side is golden brown, then flip onto the other side and cook for 2 more minutes.

This quesadilla is yummy for kids and parents. You might want to add a bit of honey to sweeten it up.
