Rice paksoi egg

Pak choi, rice and eggs

+6 months

This asian inspired dish is tasty and quick. You can choose whether to serve the omelette on the side as a finger food, or to mix it into the rice. Whatever you feel your baby prefers.

Ingredients for 1 portion

  • 50 g pak choi

  • 20 g rice

  • 0.5 egg

  • 1 tsp olive oil

Preparation

  1. Chop the pak choi roughly and steam or cook in boiling water until soft.

  2. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package. We do recommend to rinse the rice first with some cold water.

  3. Break the egg and stir it. Now poor the egg mixture into a frying pan with some olive oil in it. Once the bottom of the omelette is becoming firm, you can try to flip it over. Cook the other side until it's not runny anymore.

  4. Blend the rice with the pak choi. Now cut the omelette in half (at this age, your baby should only eat half an egg, a whole one would be too much) and serve it alongside the rice. You can also blend the egg along with the rice and pak choi, whatever you prefer.
