Grilled peach puree with Greek yoghurt

Grilled peach puree

+6 months

This recipe works with all kinds of stone fruit. Feel free to switch it up by using plums, apricots or nectarines. The grilling makes the fruit soft and extra sweet, perfect for your little eater. Once your baby is 6 months old, you can mix this puree with a small serving of yoghurt as well and even serve some of the wedges as finger foods. Just make sure to remove the skins.

Ingredients for 1 portion

  • 1 peach

  • 1 tsp vegetable oil (neutral tasting with a high smoking point - like canola oil)

  • 1 tbsp yoghurt (if your baby is over 1 year old)

Preparation

  1. Wash the peach and slice into 1 cm thick slices. Don't worry about the exact size. Cover the slices in the sunflower oil.

  2. Heat up a pan (preferably a griddle pan). Once it has reached a medium heat, put the peaches in the pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side.

  3. Blend the peaches and serve by itself or with some yoghurt.
