Fennel has a lovely sweet flavor that babies usually love. Add some potato for a creamier texture and you have a puree you can serve with both fish and meat.

Ingredients for 1 portion

  • 1 potato

  • 0.5 fennel bulb

  • 1 tsp olive oil

Preparation

  1. Steam or boil the peeled and cubed potato together with the fennel that you've chopped in small pieces.

  2. Blend until smooth and add some olive oil .

Also joining the table?

You can serve mashed potatoes and some fennel, cooked and caramelised in the oven, alongside a piece of fish.
