This high energy snack is just what your child needs if they need some extra energy in between meals. There's no added sugar, only the crispy rice, creamy peanut butter, sweet dates and flavourful coconut.

Ingredients for 4 energy balls

  • 3 dates

  • 2 tbsp puffed rice

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • 2 tbsp grated and dried coconut (you can also use crushed sesame seeds)

Preparation

  1. Dates

    Remove the seeds from the dates and chop them very finely.

  2. Puffed rice & peanut butter

    Mix the puffed rice with the peanut butter and chopped dates and roll into little balls.

  3. Grated coconut

    Roll the energy balls into some grated, dried coconut and keep in the fridge.
