Corn on the cob with massala yoghurt

Corn on the cob

+6 months

Corn on the cob is a fun finger food because even very young babies can grab it easily. It can get a bit messy but that's part of the fun. You can choose to spread the yoghurt on top or to serve it on the side for dipping.

Allergies

Cow's milk

Ingredients for 1 portion

  • 1 cob of corn

  • 2 tbsp yoghurt

  • 0.25 tsp paprika powder (smoked)

Preparation

  1. Bring a large pot of water to the boil. Submerge the cob of corn and cook for about 5 minutes until bright and yellow.

  2. Optional

After boiling it, you could put the corn on the grill just to bring out some extra flavor. Make sure you don't burn it.

  3. Mix the yoghurt with the smoked paprika

Also joining the table?

Do you feel like munching on a cob of corn yourself? Consider making this dipping sauce, inspired by the mexican elote. Finish with some parmesan cheese.

You will need to add:

  • 4 tablespoons of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped coriander
  • 1 lime (use zest and juice)
  • Pinch of chipotle or cayenne pepper
  • Sprinkle of parmesan cheese
