Broccoli is the real Popeye food. It packs plenty of iron and all other kinds of goodness for your little one's growing body. Start with this puree and when they're ready, give them some florets to munch on.

Ingredients for 1 portion

  • 4 broccoli florets

  • 1 tsp olive oil


  1. Steam or boil the broccoli until soft. Blend or mash it until smooth. You can add some cooking liquid to get the right texture. Stir through the olive oil to finish.

Also joining the table?

You can choose to steam or oven roast the broccoli for yourself and add some soy sauce, chili flakes and sprinkle of lime juice at the end.
