Is vinegar healthy for children?

You can safely add a small splash of vinegar in your cooking. The flavor should be imperceptible. Balsamic vinegar, apple cider vinegar or red/white wine vinegar are all ok. Vinegar even contains some essential minerals and antioxidants. It also helps improve vitamin C absorption. Never give vinegar in its pure form, since it may cause irritation and indigestion.
