Can my baby eat Soy sauce

From +1 year

Common allergen:

Soy

Is soy sauce healthy for children?

Soy sauce, even the low sodium kind, is very high in sodium and does not contain many nutrients, which is why you should not serve any soy sauce to your baby during the first year. However, because of the reasons mentioned, we recommend you wait with serving soy sauce for a longer time. You can add very small quantities to your cooking if the flavor is really important in your diet, but always go for the low sodium kind and don't serve multiple times a week.
