Can my baby eat Melon

From +4 months

Is melon healthy for children?

All types of melon are safe to give to your baby from the start of eating solids. Nutritional values differ between them, with cantaloupe melons being the highest in Vitamin A, C and potassium. Watermelon is the lowest in calories but it's full of an antioxidant named lycopene and also contains a good amount of vitamin A, C and potassium. So much more than just water!

How to serve melon

Peel the melon and remove the seeds. You can then make a puree or serve it as a finger food, taking into account the appropriate finger food sizes for your baby's age.
