Can my baby eat Grapes

From +10 months

Are grapes healthy for children?

In theory, a baby can eat grapes as soon as he or she starts eating solids. However, the shape of the grape, round with a hard skin, makes it a common choking hazard for babies. It's also not a fruit that's easily pureed, so we recommend waiting until your baby is able to chew much better. Grapes contain a lot of sugar so don't serve grapes on a daily basis since they might make your baby accustomed to their very sweet taste. They do however also contain high amounts of vitamins C and K and are very rich in antioxidants.

How to serve grapes

You can serve grapes as a finger food by quartering them lengthwise. They're not great to puree.
