Can my baby eat Butter

From +6 months

Common allergen:

Cow's milk

Is butter healthy for children?

Butter is not the healthiest fat you can give to your child, since over half of the fats it contains are saturated fats. However, due to its heat resistance and flavor, we can recommend its use for baked goods. Remember to serve butter in moderation and rely more on healthy fats such as olive oil, sesame oil or healthy fats found in foods such as nuts or seeds.

How to serve butter

Add butter in baked goods or use it to bake pancakes or french toast in. Try to give preference to healthier vegetable oils.
