Can my baby eat Brussels sprouts

From +6 months

Are brussels sprouts healthy for children?

Brussels sprouts are part of the cabbage family and are very healthy. They contain vitamin C, vitamin K and folic acid. Even though they can turn quite bitter if you boil them too long, if you cook them correctly, by steaming them until cooked, they are actually quite sweet. They have the reputation of being one of the most hated foods but it's really worth it to introduce these mini cabbages to your little one early on, so they develop a liking for them.

How to serve brussels sprouts

You can cook or roast brussels sprouts and serve them in a chunky puree or as a finger food, taking into account appropriate finger food sizes for your baby's age.
