Lentil packed pasta sauce
We can highly advise you to make a big portion of this vegan, veggie packed pasta sauce. Keep small portions in your freezer for those times you just don't feel like cooking. Super nutritious, healthy and incredibly yummy! We served this pasta sauce with lentil pasta, which is great for those who are allergic to wheat. But you can totally go for regular pasta too.
Ingredients for 4 portions
Preparation
Chop the onion, garlic, celery and bell pepper finely.
Heat up the olive oil in a deep skillet and cook the chopped veggies on a low to medium heat until they become slightly soft. Make sure they don't burn by stirring frequently.
Now add the tomato sauce, spices and lentils. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
Blend the sauce until smooth and serve with your preferred pasta.
